Out now: P. van Dongen - Hate to Say O.K.

I’m very happy to announce that I have a new EP coming out on Audiomatique Recordings. The EP is called Hate to Say O.K. and is available in stores from April 18, 2006. It contains three tracks: Hate to say O.K., Fingerless, and Cunning Tricks.
As far as the titles are concerned: the only thing I can say is that I recorded Fingerless after cutting off the top of my left index finger while preparing Mexican dinner. The doctor that treated me in the hospital was called doctor Vingerhoedt, she was very nice to me. But here comes the irony: vingerhoed means something like the top of your finger in Dutch. Then again, if automutulation gets me a release on Audiomatique, you won’t hear me complaining.
I hope you’ll enjoy the tracks, and if you’re hungry for some more: June 9 I’m doing my first ever live set at Exit in Vida Loca, Tilburg, Netherlands. Benny Rodrigues, Darko Esser, Giorgos Gatzigristos and Batis will be there too. Hope to see you then!
